Ciarra Cmphany known as “C. Cmphany”, is an R&B, Soul, and Pop Singer/Songwriter based in the DMV, and native to the DC Metro area. Graduating from one of the most esteemed art schools in the Metropolitan area of Washington, DC; Duke Ellington School of the Arts, she has a strong and diverse background in all genres of music; Gospel, Soul, Classical, R&B, and Broadway music. Before she was Ciarra Cmphany, she was a little girl inspired by Whitney Houston, Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child, Mariah Carey, Mya, Brandy, and many other loved legends, until she began using her gifts in the church. As she came into womanhood and peaks into the best era of being a black woman, she’s decided to tell HER-story through the music. In the words of the Great Mother, “Church girl don’t hurt nobody”. Cmphany is God’s child first, a loving mother second, and a “Bad B**ch” immediately after. C. Cmphany gives the perfect mix of playful, sexy, and sophisticated Pop Star energy on and off the stage. The 30-year-old eclectic songstress and performer has a passion for music but also possesses strong passionate ideals about education, advocacy, fashion, charity work, and most of all, family. On her journey as a singer/songwriter, she is relentless in taking the industry by storm; and taking her lane to usher in a new up-and-coming wave of “real music” again.
